Communication Between First Responders and Medical Clinic Leads to Better Care
Overview:
First responders can spot under the radar patients that need care and communicate well with the medical clinic to get help.
We do really well at communication and then with the medical clinic they have been very well receiving us as far as you know the circle of care with regards to our patients…in regards to our community paramedic patients or just in general. So if the duty crew thinks that so-and-so can use some extra care or you know maybe they are living off the radar, they can talk to me and if their doctor is in town, I can talk to the doctor and the doctor can talk to the patient to see if they are willing to come into the program. Or maybe the health care nurse is concerned about a person.
