Community Action Team to Fight the Opioid Crisis
Community comes together to fight the opioid crisis with a Community Action Team (CAT). CATs are comprised of service providers such as police, social workers, and health professionals; representatives from municipal and provincial governments; educators and school administrators; parents; youth; and non-profit agencies to create local action plans to address the overdose crisis.
It’s a Vancouver Coastal Health sponsored Community Action Team to fight the opioid crisis. It’s just an amazing group of people that from all walks in the community that have joined this team and we got all kinds of initiatives happening and it’s a really good group.
