Health Authority Holds Discussion to Meet Community Needs
Bi-annual meetings prove to be instrumental in finding solutions to community concerns.
I think two times a year, they put all the different groups together and they do the hospital and we have a round table discussion with the director of the lower mainland, the local, and I don’t know, what you call them, not peer groups, but just who’s who in the zoo I guess. Yeah, it’s the Vancouver Coastal Health get together with the community. They pull in the prep group and, inclusion we just get together and talk about the issues. So, that happens once for sure, maybe twice a year. There’s communication in that regard when there are issues that, may be piss off a segment of the community, it gets dealt with really quick, i.e. the food issue.
