Physicians Travel to Aging Patients
Overview:
Connections to community and patients deepened by physician’s dedication to visiting aging patients closer to home.
[Regarding special services provided] The doctors also go to [Community X]and help them because not everybody can come [travel] down. They have an aging population too, so twice a week physicians from here have gone for years…It’s an hour [drive]… but they go up twice a week and that’s really made a difference, like many for years. They’ve maintained that. I think that’s pretty neat that we do connect like that because I know some of the ones in the interior don’t get that kind of thing.
