Travel Assistance Program (TAP) Funds Locals with Out-Of- Community Appointments.
Overview:
Free transportation on BC Ferries by obtaining a form from your physicians identifying the need for treatment outside your community.
[The] TAP (Travel Assistance Program) form allows patients to travel on the BC Ferry for free. It’s a form that your doctor will complete saying you need to receive care from a specialist outside of your community and the government will pay for your travel.
