Well-Trained First Responders in CPR
Overview:
First responders are scattered throughout Gabriola Island and respond quickly with CPR and are well-trained.
The first responders are all really well trained in CPR. They’re also sort of scattered through the island, so CPR starts really early, which I think is why the outcomes are as good as they are, and very, very good, effective CPR. We also do training sessions with the paramedics and the first responders as well. I think that’s really elevated the level of resuscitation.
