Bio | Krystal Wong
Krystal is the Program Coordinator for the Rural Site Visits Project and manages the planning, communications and operations of the project. She has been very grateful to meet and visit many unique rural communities through this initiative and looks forward to amplifying the rural voices, experiences and innovations in BC.
Bio | Erika Belanger
Erika is the Research Coordinator and Data Analyst for the Rural Site Visits Project and manages all of the site visits and innovations data. From this data she produces various reports for dissemination and assists with planning and attending various site visits throughout each year. She has enjoyed the opportunity to listen to community members directly and gain a deeper understanding of the various rural contexts that exist across British Columbia.
Bio | David Snadden
Dave is a Professor in the Department of Family Practice, UBC Faculty of Medicine. He is based at the Northern Medical Program in Prince George and provides academic advice to the Rural Site Visits Project. He has very much enjoyed the opportunity to visit rural communities and continues to learn a lot from each one which helps support continued advocacy for rural health care.
Bio | Stuart Johnston
Stuart is a retired GP who spent 29 years providing full service care in rural BC. Together with the RCCbc Site Visits team, he leads the project and has visited about 120 rural communities in BC. He is an Associate Director with the RCCbc and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Family Practice, UBC Faculty of Medicine.
